TWO young boy’s bikes were stolen from a front garden in broad daylight.

Oliver and Alistair Marsh-Wilson from Malvern Road, Wallasey left their bikes while they popped into their house on June 29, for a few brief moments.

When they came out both bikes had disappeared.

Mum, Helen said: “Alistair’s bike was only four weeks old. It was bought for his fifth birthday at the end of May.

“The boys loved the bikes. They use them every day and ride them to school there and back and are out every night on them. They are so upset.

“But it’s not the value I’m concerned about, I just feel sick to the stomach, to think that someone would steal from children.

“I would also like to warn other people about leaving their children’s bikes outside.

“A neighbour from Chorlton Road told me that her son’s bike was also stolen the day after from the front garden and thinks they may be stolen to order to sell at car boot sales.

My daughter's bike was stolen from a shed in a garden in Wallasey, she had only had the bike a month a birthday present. Scum that will steal children's bikes or other property are exactly that - S C U M. Perhaps they are being stolen for their scrap value?

Bicycles, especially childrens ones, have been taken in the Wallasey, Seacomb area for over the paast twp years, now...They are frequently ridden for a while, by the young people who have taken them, then dumped in another spot, where more young people continue the pattern.
Eventually these fairly new bikes are dumped on the beaches, close to the promenade.
The Police who drive along the promenade in their vehicles, frequently do not notice or see, stolen property which lies abandoned along the beaches, where it is eventaully washed out with a strong tide, or lies there rusting.

Some scally family in Seacombe is probably selling them for drugs. We'd better getting rid of these scumbags at birth so they can't start thieving. For many of them in runs in rhe family.
